Membership Benefits

  • Reduced fee for the annual conference. Held in the Spring of each year, the conference features local, regional and national experts in areas of interest. It is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues and preview educational products.

  • Topical workshops, issues forums and other professional meetings sponsored by the Association during the year

  • Eligible to nominate people for scholarships

  • Eligible to nominate outstanding adult students and/or educators for recognition awards at the annual conference

  • Free MAACCE newsletter. MAACCE MATTERS is published regularly throughout the year. It details association activities and professional issues. It is mailed to all members.

  • Eligible to participate with members on committees and work groups

  • Eligible to serve on the Board of Directors

Membership Opportunities

This year we are offering three different avenues for membership.

1. Individual - still $30! Includes the following:

  • All mailings

  • A reduced rate for our annual conference

  • Four issues of MAACCE Matters

  • Funding opportunities through scholarships and awards to our members and their students.

  • Updates on important developments in adult education

  • An active board that supports increasing funding for you and your programs!

2. Institutional Membership - designed for non-profit organizations -$250 entitles the organization to the following:

  • Three MAACCE memberships

  • A link from our Website to your site

  • A flyer in our conference package

  • One free conference participant, and

  • If requested, a scheduled time and room at the conference to discuss job opportunities with potential employees.

3. Corporate Membership - designed for profit organizations - $500 entitles the organization to the following:

  • One MAACCE membership

  • A mini-breakout session at the conference to demonstrate your product to interested conference participants in greater depth

  • One advertisement in one MAACCE Matters

  • A link from our Website to yours

  • Reduced costs for one table at the conference

  • A half-page advertisement in the conference book, and

  • Conference participation for the member
