Deadline for nominations is March 31!

MAACCE invites its members to submit nominations for special recognition in the following categories.  Nominations will be considered based on the standards listed below. Please note: Any award entry that contains more than 150 words will be rejected.

Awards Nomination Form (word document)

Teacher / Instructor Award: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 3 years of service as an instructor
  • Provide specific details about the service or development of methods and services

Administrator Award: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 3 years of service as an adminsitrator
  • Provide specific details about service and leadership in the field of adult education

Instructor Specialist / Intake Assessment Specialist Award: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 3 years of service
  • Provide specific details about the service or development of methods and servcies, and leadership in the field of adult education

Support Staff Award: (Takes the place of the Practitioner / Facilitator Award) (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 3 years of service as a member of support staff
  • Provide specific details about the service provided or development of methods and services that contributed to facilitating the support of an adult education program

Partner Award: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 1 year as a partner between an adult education program and a community, not-for-profit organization or a business entity
  • Provide specific evidence of support and/or partnership with an adult education program

Volunteer Award: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 1 year of service in adult education classroom or support services
  • Provide specific details about the service provided to an adult education program

Aide/Assistant Instructor Award: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 3 years of service as an aide or assistant instructor
  • Provide specific details about the service or development of methods and services

TechnologyAward: (One award)

  • Nominee must have at least 1 year of service in adult education
  • Provide specific details about the service or development of methods and services

Student Award : (Multiple awards)

  • Nominee must have been in an adult education program for at least 1 year
  • Provide specific details about student's achievements and progress toward goal
